Why am I cursed?!?

Hello,

Yesterday I logged in ... and for some reason I was cursed!

Saturday night I played one uneventful game. I didn't hurt anyone, but I did notice one of those "Curse" griefer notes with my name on it. It's possible I was cursed with that once I logged off.

So I played two games yesterday and managed to live to something like 58. Not a full 60 minutes but pretty close. I was still cursed.

Then today, I log on and I am not cursed. I play an hour with a small family (me, my mom and brother. Mom dies and me and bro build up a small town. I have one child, she has none, so we die off)

When I go to start my second game I'M CURSED AGAIN!

They killed me (twice actually. I ended up in the same town a second time).

What is up? Is this a glitch? How do I fix it?

It's real frustrating ... makes me not want to play any more.

Its probably the note- people would have picked it up curiously and cursed you.

Weirdly, I cursed myself with a note but I'm not cursed.

The 'curse people with notes' thing should be fixed, for sure.  It's totally open to abuse.

Sorry you keep getting cursed.  What was the name?  If I am in that town and I find the note, I will take it off into the wilderness and lose it somewhere.

Were you named bravery? If so that town with your curse notes was reborn the next day. I didn't think the notes were cursing anyone at that point though but maybe they were before my life.

If I ever find a curse note, I immediately take it far away from town and hide it. This kind of thing should not be possible.

Somebody just put my name on a note for cursing, so I might get to experience what it's like to be cursed.

Were you named bravery? If so that town with your curse notes was reborn the next day. I didn't think the notes were cursing anyone at that point though but maybe they were before my life.

Yeah....I thought it would be funny to write a bunch of notes sayin to curse an innocent player and leave them around town. The person in question started taking the notes out of town so i killed him.

If you were flint one of those deaths, I am sorry. I was your mother. I was just making sure that the town would not be endangered with anyone who would likely do harm. I know this curse paper thing should be fixed. It's really annoying I am pretty sure. Perhaps wait couple of weeks up until Rohrer hotfixes it.
Curse paper really undermines the purpose of marking someone with their injustice.

Still cursed. I've played a few full hours now ... with a lot of being murdered and starved in between. This is super not fun.

When you are cursed I believe its fifteen lifetimes before you are no longer cursed.

idk if jason would do anything to fix this (after his vacation ofc) b/c that means he would have to consider this a bug and not a feature... if he does end up taking out the ability to curse ppl through notes then u could email him abt ur situation
