I just lived as the daughter to a new Eve Tarr and immediately had to fend of a murderer and a cursed child (same person maybe?). It seems that the path of the Tarr back to glory must be littered with blood.

Though ruining player experience just because it is Tarr family isn't very fun. They also have pretty smart players who help keeping the city running. I just find myself attracted to places that encourage you to take risks and do your best keeping family alive.
