I recently Contacted Jason about Content and stuff for ohol well long story short he asked me to post a video of a lion on here but i thought y just a lion i can post anyhing so i want ideas of what to make for ohol
Other than water: Obsidian: Obsidian tipped spears: (yes more combat) Lions: and canoes:
i am kind of short on idea atm please make them good ideas and reasonable like dont put TENT
Like why would a tent make any sense
i will make a private server like Thol (Two hours one life)
I am no wear near as good as jason at drawing or making the stuff ig so these will not be as polished as the real game that being said i will try my best to add all of your suggestions to the private server

Magma pools are volcanoes as far as I know. Not all volcanoes are vastly different from surrounding landscapes.

all rightbut my idea of a volcano is a huge mountain spewing lava my idea of a magma pool is a small area in a desert that has lava like a pond fulled with lava take the duck pond it is about that small i am making it as i am typing

And sorry about the miscommunication. I grew up next to a volcano, so I know quite a bit about them. I guess I forgot it wasn't common knowledge. My bad.

I'm not sure if you can implement this, but the area around the magma pools shouldn't be farmable. There would likely be layers of basalt rock (cooled lava) around the area with magma, meaning no soil. Volcanoes also spew toxic gasses, killing any life in the area. You can actually see this happen with the recent volcanic activity in Hawaii.

Magma should also give off heat, like a fire, but hotter. Not only is this heat wholly realistic, it would also be a good way to represent being in proximity to the toxic gasses, as the extreme heat would make the food bar drop faster. Actually, making the area close to the pool inhospitable to players would prevent them from farming near there anyway, making my first point rather pointless. Of course this would have to be balanced so that they don't die too quickly, just hot enough to make staying there for prolonged periods of time unwise.

like i said i am not jason and these wont be as near as good and ican only add onto the game with whats there i cant add new pyshic to the engine its using jason will have to do that so any changes to the base of the game you will have to ask jason as this is just a mod

I think i will try to implement these ideas and just make something very usefull there, making the players prepare for it by making heat suits (nothing promised)

flint+steel = flint & steel. Which you can use on tinder directly, and has many uses. Basically obviates fire bow, straight shaft, and leaf when making fire.

Then uses for that leather:

- backpack that lasts much longer
- leather pants make you immune to snake bites
- leather jacket + wolf or boar attack = shredded leather jacket, rather than being injured.
- leather horse blinders - makes horses not wander all over if you're not riding them (no need to tie to fence)
- leather+tongs+planks = improved blacksmith bellows - makes forge fire last longer
- knife + leather = 3 piles of leather straps, which are functionally equivalent to rope, except cannot be used for lasso

More mods will split the community. We are already not a lot. Please, try to melt mod together. You can add your stuff on THOL.

Honestly i'd like most of these to become actual features. Im preparing a post on the needs of flint and steel, but basically it means camps in savannahs are viable after steel, which is great for trappers since they can get needles for bags and food without the constant fear of being stolen.
