The Church of the Sacred Code

Inspired by the WHS, I decided to create a little roleplay society of my own. It's nothing serious, just a fun little activity for those of you who have become bored in the larger cities.

{The Church of the Sacred Code}

-What are we?-
The Church of the Sacred Code is a religious order dedicated to the worship of the Programmer and his sacred code.

-Our Code-
1. Never abandon new players, we are all the children of the Programmer
2. Teach all children about the Programmer and his Sacred Code
3. The first person in a village to convert is known as the "Elder". They are the head of the Church in that particular village and deal with all matters attaining to the religion.
4. The current Elder may nominate a successor. If no successor is nominated, then the faithful may vote for a new one.
5. We are a peaceful society, we only kill in self-defence.
6. Members of the Church must renounce any other affiliations to external organisations, this means any royal titles must be forfeit and any governments must be left.
7. When possible, dedicate a shrine to the Programmer, leave him gifts, small things like a bowl of berries or a pie. DO NOT sacrifice humans, it is a self-destructive habit, if you must sacrifice something use a goose or sheep.
8. Anyone who insults the Programmer must be shunned by the community.

-Our Customs-
As stated before, we are a peaceful society, dedicated to the worship of the Programmer and the teaching of the Sacred Code. When faced with non-believers, act courteously, do not ostracise them, teach them about the Programmer and the Sacred Code. If they do not want to listen, let them wallow in their own self-pity, but do not insult them, remember, we are all children of the Programmer. Remember to praise and worship the Programmer, leave offerings at his shrine if you can.

-Elder Guide-
Congratulations! You have either started a church in your village or have been nominated for the position of elder, you are now officially in charge of all religious matters in your branch! As elder, it is your responsibility to oversee the construction of a shrine, if there is none, make sure that the children are taught about the Programmer and to protect and guide your people. You have a decent amount of choice and autonomy when it comes to the smaller customs and rules of the Church, do the followers have to greet each other with a special word? Is your flock segregated from ordinary society? Its all up to you.

-Conclusion-
Hopefully, this society will inject a little bit of drama and life into your lives as you role-play along with your fellow followers!

Good idea Pein! You guys definitely need some identifiable attire to broadcast your condescending identity to the world! Wouldn't that be super?? Some pre-appointed swag for the leader and some humble, but uniform garb for all his followers.

What if someone just happens to be wearing a sheepskin.......

Such a peinful death for an innocent newbie who put on some sheepskin because it's better then being naked.
