I hate the fact that when a snake bites me or a hog i can't cure myself its so annoying i mostly go haunting or exploring around the village and i kinda go far so when i get bit by a snake its over i wish i can cure myself without people doing it for me

Back in the old days, those meant instant black screen of death, you didn't even had time to see what hit you.

Yeah back in the olden days we used to walk near a tree and suddenly get the black screen of death. However you do happen to live in a time where self treating at least one type of wound is possible. Unfortunately self treating arrow wounds requires some finesse and kills you anyways.

Self healing would be bad as griefers could save themselves whenever someone tries to stop them.

I think the town doctor is a fairly under appreciated job. You don't have much time to heal someone, even more so if you get hurt further from town. Often I see people die in hospital because no one was around to heal them.

Your basically fucked if you get shot with an arrow or bitten by a snake.

Maybe if we get tech advanced enough for personal med kits that do not require asistance of second person to apply medicaments. I can't see that implemented soon though.

Yup i mean only heal urself when u get bit by a snake like u put a cream or yourself or something that would help you and no one can griffer

Maybe you could first aid tend the wounds cause by fauna. Like you could introduce bandages. Which would just give more timer on the death clock. So if you get bitten you tend your wounds with bandage and get more time to run to a town to get fully patched up. A first aid on a field should not be a permanent solution to a wound just a smaal timer for you to run to town and get fully treated.

And if you are not treated by a town doctor you would just die, but just with a slower time frame.
