Why are so many players to quick to murder?

I personally try to avoid town conflicts as it often ends with murder. I don't mind it as long as it dosn't hurt the town long term, preferably fertile women shouldn't be killed but it happens.

Conflicts happen and as far I'm concerned the winner is right. Although people should at least try to talk before going straight for kills, everyone makes mistakes.

Still, so much violence in towns. Sometimes griefers but I've seen conflicts over crowns go bloody. You end up with huge murder chains.

This will stop, now that Donkytown is a thing.

Re: Why are so many players to quick to murder?

People murder for all sorts of different reasons. I personally watched one of my sons stab my granddaughter over her not giving him her apron. Thankfully she was healed and I promptly shot him for being a goof ball.

Though some things really should be kill on sight regardless if the person knows better or not. If you see someone breeding dogs at the moment they deserve to be stabbed and left a cursed note in the muddle of town. Irreversible harm should always be dealt with swiftly and with murder. If a troll kills everyone in town an eve can still spawn in however, if someone breeds sixty dogs we're just stuck with that.

At the end of the day people should try to be a bit more carefree about the little inefficiencies and teach people why they should or shouldn't do what they're doing. Hell I remember watching some murder another person over making bread instead of pies when they didn't even have enough plates for pies...

Just try to be nice to each other and show a little bit of compassion for your fellow player.

I've started stabbing men for kidnapping babies and letting them die. The excuse is always "they swore" or "they tried to pick up a backpack." Okay, if you can be judgey, so can I.

Murders still happen and eventually donkeytown could flourish meaning it's a desired place to end up permanently, when it gets more like that I'm headed there just to see what its like!

Re: Why are so many players to quick to murder?

Honestly I think that's one of the most compelling parts to game-play-- its' when it's not killing out of boredum-- but killing based on the downfalls to being human.

Probably one of my favorite moments- was when 70% of the town killed each-other individually. No one knew who to trust, and I ended it all- the last remaining person in the knife nursery stabbed a small girl. With that small girls' character witness (she thankfully didn't die) if confirmed my reason for stabbing him was justified- and thus ending the whole terror.

I mean that's the closest i will ever simulate the Salem witch trials in a way that illustrates the crazy of humanity.
