Question about Eve Spawns

I grew up in a nice village, and had gotten a cow for the place before I died. I ended up dying of old age, with a home marker in my village, yet next game, 20 seconds later, I spawned as an eve, but no where near my old village!

I thought that if you died of old age with a home marker set, you're next eve spawn would be in said village, am I wrong, or did something else happen?

Only if you are a EVE and die of old age can you spawn as an eve in a town

So, another question.

If you die as eve of old age near a home marker, does it guarantee you will spawn at one of your villages, or just a village in general? I've died of old age and spawned as eve in villages before but sadly, none of them were mine even though I am pretty sure I had both active lines and deserted camps at the time. I've never been able to revisit one of my settlements to see how it progressed

Is it just bad luck on my part?

Isn't that the point though? That if you care enough to make it to 60 you want back in? Getting to 60 is pretty tough anyway, I think even the best pros would have trouble doing it consistently without stepping on a snake or accidentally starving early. It would give people a tiny reward and a goal to make it all the way to 60 though.

You wont necessarly respawn in the same village tho

As far as i understand it goes like this: if you die of old age as an eve (not sure if you really need homemarker) your next eve spawn will be in a random village that had people in it at the time you died as an eve, the more the village has people the more the chances you spawn there

I think the spawn location is selected from the position of one random person currently playing on server at the moment you die of old age as eve, but not sure about that
