Mallet + stakes = floor stakes, for road building

Right now making floor stakes requires four hit with a stone on the stakes, which can be slow to build roads or making lots of floors

Not really something very important but it would make the road and floor building (especially the big roads) faster and also less repetitive

wouldn't need a stone so is ok, already need cart for flat rocks

I would like stakes to stay in the same shape when picking them up, like "road stakes" or "east-west stakes" instead of default stakes every time. since most of the time you do multiple buildings of the same type

This is the solution I like the most to be honest, would be a BIG quality of life improvement.

Good idea, and you could use stone to change the shape or sharp stone if you want to remove it without placing anything

Or better click on them to remove them, without needing a sharp stone and sharp stone would revert them to simple stakes

But at the same time might not make sense to put down floor stakes without needing a stone or a mallet to put them in the ground
