That guitar - and instruments in general

In the trailer Jason has a guitar in the corner. Which got me thinking on how to play instruments in game. Since notes have letters on a scale, how about when you hold an instrument and type the letters for the notes, it plays those notes - because CABBAGE is everyone's favorite tune!

What recipe do you think would make a guitar? <-- We need to speed that process up!

Maybe some cruder instruments other than a guitar? Flutes, drums and harp?

Here is a squash made into an ocarina. Now that's crude!

Panpipes made with reeds and string would be nice and simple.

reed bundle + flint = 2 cut reed bundles
cut reed bundle + thread = panpipes

Cut reed bundles could otherwise be used as kindling.

+ 1, music is a wonderful way to express

Maybe in the game logic guitar could be kept for later in the tech tree ? In the same kind of things is rhombe who could be made with ropes and bones or wood. Flutes and percussion instruments can be made with "easy" steps too. Flutes could be made in wood, bones or reeds, all things who are in game. Percussions could use animals skins, and wood.

using letters as notes would be the logical thing to do in OHOL, making music sheets, maybe allowing copy paste and more characters for more elllaborate songs

Clicking on different places on the screen to get different notes could also be interesting but you would need to stand still and couldnt move while playing

Not a big fan of adding music yet. Id like to see some useful updates. Dogs were dissapointing only real use is removal of carnitas.

I would find some band members and we would tour trough the towns with our horse dolly and give concerts in sheep pens.
