I have a few suggestions to expand the forum a bit and prepare it for the growth that will come when the game hits steam.
Rename User Stories and User Fan Art to Featured Stories and Featured Fan Art. Create two new subforums under Main Forum for User Stories and Fan Art, and make them open to post in.
Create a new forum under Support named Suggestions, for where people can post their suggestions related to the game.
Currently, having Main Forum as a catch all for all three of these types of postings isn't terrible, though suggestions does seem to be taking over a little, so suggestions having its own forum would be great.
As for User Stories and User Fan Art, I posted a story in the forum and was told it should have gone into the User Stories forum by someone that didn't know that forum was locked. Having a dedicated forum for user stories and fan art might be a good idea to avert that nonsense... and besides, there might be people that would want to write user stories or post fan art, but there's nowhere to put them... or after putting them in Main Forum, they just immediately get buried under other topics, so they don't see any point.
One person can easily destroy what has taken dozens of people to build. And they don't see anything wrong with it. They like to do it even. They fiercely defend their right to destroy. They'll do whatever it takes to get around any measures in place to prevent them from doing so.
What we do when there are no real consequences to our actions makes a rather sad statement about human nature.

+1 makes sense to me
Morality is the interpretation of what is best for the well-being of humankind.

Another thing is that the two word key given to you when you buy the game should differ based off of account, this would prevent both advertisers and trolls.

once it goes on steam wont it get its own forums over there too?

Yes, but this game already has it's own forums, so those will most likely stay popular, with steam forums being a ghostown:(
