Suggestion: Radial Menu for Emotions

Emotions have been implemented recently and you need to type different commands for each emotion:
/JOY
/HAPPY
/BLUSH
/SAD
/ANGRY
/MAD
/DEVIOUS

My suggestion would be a radial menu that would display when pressing a key (e.g. G) and then you can move the mouse to a direction and releasing the G would select that emotion.

Radial menus from different games:

This would save a large amount of time as we don't need to type every command for just an emotion. It would also help to replace different words like thanks or you're welcome by just press G, mouse over HAPPY / BLUSH emotion and release G key.

Re: Suggestion: Radial Menu for Emotions

He seems to not like to hook up controls to keyboard buttons, maybe it would be better if he made the emote selection LOL (League of Legends) style, where you press and hold middle click, and move you're mouse to the appropriate emotion on the wheel.

Re: Suggestion: Radial Menu for Emotions

fun fact- sims had it first, then i think crysis

not everyone has middle mouse button, cheap mouses are just wheel or not even that(not sure if this is why non shooter gaves never use middle mouse click), i guess most of them has it
but keyboards are needed for all games, so i would prefer keyboard commands, also i would like spacebar for eating the food in hand

Re: Suggestion: Radial Menu for Emotions

People who don’t have the middle button can just do it the normal way, so no big issue

Re: Suggestion: Radial Menu for Emotions

I'd like radial menus for things. I suggested it once for some simple texts, like L4D style. Basic things you always have to repeat like "Are you new?", "Follow me" and other things like that.

well i made myself a macro pack(glossary), like my text expander triggers every time i type i use those letter combinations

they got a feature called Smart complete, and that makes it much better than the competitors, unfortunately its pro feature and thay way costs a lot, i was lucky enough to get an extended trial, but with version 5 gonna become basic feature, than i think its maybe worth buying the program (still costs 59 bucks so bit costly to just use for gaming)
gives you a search bar, generally is annoying if it triggers every time, so i go around that by using special triggers. i used numbers in other game, but in ohol you cant so i use letters which dont appear in start of general words ''qq'' or ''qe'' for example
now you need to hit the arrows or one more letter and the confirm button (space generally, i use tab)

this means they only trigger when i need it,  i can group them under a letter and a subletter so its not hard to remember

ewz99Fw.png
this is just an example
my greeting is like ''hi baby! welcome" now i hit q and first option

it simulates typing so not copy paste, this means works in games where pasting is forbidden

i was making some shortcuts to say stuff i say generally but i just dont really use it that much, mainly cause im lazy, and its incomplete, and not really focusing on baby raising and teaching generally
but i use it for random emotions (somewhy only works when i can type the whole thing so 7-8 yo)
random naming girls and boys from a list, or selecting names for them

Re: Suggestion: Radial Menu for Emotions

I like it. It's more intuitive than typing commands.
