I really don't get the whole deal about nudity, it's not graphic and it's not pornographic. Shouldn't a far bigger issue for people concerned about the kids be how you can stab and murder people in the game?

i totally agree...
children don't see nudity, they aren't phased by it (heck they spend half their time running around naked anyway, those who have kids will understand me )

My daughter often sees me playing, and she begs me to let her play also, but i refuse, not because of the nudity, but because of the impredicatbility of other players, random murderings and bad/rude language.
I'll only consider to let her play in the turorial or eventually on an empty server.

Potjeh, you don't live in America, where murder is PG, bare breasts or a single F-word are PG-13, and anything more (including two F-words) are R-rated.

As I understand it, softcore pornography (naked people having sex, or full-frontal nudity) is shown on the public airwaves in certain parts of Europe.

I vote let the nudity stand.  This is almost literally National Geographic magazine nudity.  That's never been problematic.  Don't let a vocal minority sway you.

I can promise you that no public airwaves will ever show child-nudity so that argument is very weak.

The reason why Europe has been so relaxed with natural nudity in the past is that natural nudity is nothing to be ashamed of, but we don't go around drawing dicks and vaginas on cartoon characters, that's just weird. That's a distinction you do not seem to comprehend.

Real people? No problem. Cartoony? Pervy.

So this discussion about nudity will go on and on.

Jason, if you got time, I'd like to suggest to have nudity as a toggleable option in the menu of the game. No mod, no DLC. Just a simple setting option.

Hey Jason, I took the screen-shot after my brother died from starvation trying to empty a mine with me, dunno if I'm being sentimental or not but I think this image both tells a story that triggers immediate understanding while raising a few extra questions, and shows off the features of the game.
