tHis is random shitposting but dont bully me

I just like to write down names I can use for my kids in OHOL in my spare time, I can do it for hours.
I sit down with my energy drink, pull up the names list and just write down all the ones I think are cute. I have about 100 names I use now, half of my notebook is just filled with name lists.

Does anyone share this weird hobby of mine or have I gone mental?

I do this as well and I like making groups of them such as word/descriptive names, fancy names, short names and weird names.

Shade of purple names: Amethyst, Lilac, Violet, Magenta and Lavender

Pet names: Baby, Honey, Dearie, Darling, Jewel and Love

Title names: Lady, Lord, Queen, King, Earl, Captain, Major, General, Duchess and Duke

I tend to walk around all day thinking up fun names I can use, and then when I've actually got the kid in my arms and start to type "You are..." my mind goes blank.

i only do so with last name, i dont like same last name twice (as eve). As for kids i wont rename the kid same name in one gen but i will reuse in other gens.

LOL no you are not mental. I have done this at work before, even. On my break of course. I know that feeling, when you are naming a baby and are like umm uhh what do I name this kid so that they love their name enough not to kill themself? Sometimes people care about that kinda thing, even tho I play regardless if my mom names me a name typically for the opposite gender (bad idea, mommies, many people don't like to stick around with awful names). And it really pays off, I've found. Had kiddos tell me they love their name and it makes me smile.

I usually ask kids to pick a letter. I started doing it to check for cursed babies but I found it easier to pick names that way. And it is their fault if they end up with Xena. Not my fault you picked x...

i store names in a script, also made an editor in snagit where i use onetech pictures as stamps on a grid map to plan out buildings
