I had gotten a bag and knife when I was a baby. I watched as someone killed a bear. The bear had killed my mother soon before, and somebody took care of me.
When I was a boy, I was accused of crime. I was the boy named Dean, I think.
I'd supposedly hidden the bow and arrows after a bear had been killed. I did, but I knew where they were and would return them soon. I never thought they would be that mad.
I was chased by a blond man, and he wanted to kill me. I was chased for ten years. It was in that time I saw Misty.
She was the image of a perfect lady. She'd work in the berry fields, and take care of abandoned kids like me. You had a say in the bear killing, I believe.
But as we fell into famine, the man found the bow, and sent someone to get it.
"You, young man, are going to be killed. We found your lame hiding place."
"No, YOU!"
I whipped around, and stabbed him. He had thought I was eating the pie that was in my hands seconds ago. He was red faced as he died, and he was angry. Nobody fed him. He had been sponging for a long time, and nobody cared. Somebody fed me, however. It was Misty, but I hadn't the time to mouse over then.
After he died, I was getting on in years and was doing pies, when Misty's daughter, nearly of age, walked up to me and told me that her mom was kinda bored. So even later, after I brought wild carrots back to camp to keep us alive and the famine ended, I walked up to Misty, with some flowers in my bag.
"Hey, Misty..."
"Hi Dean, how are you?"
"Oh, well, I was going to tell you something..."
"Hmm?"
"Well, I always had a bit of a crush on you..."
"Oh, thank you!"
I handed her the flowers, and we both went on with our lives. But when I was 50, she was very old. When Misty died, I buried her and put the flowers on her grave. I was very sad. I had loved her all life. When I was dying, I asked a girl to bury me beside Misty, and I died happy.
Misty, if you ever see this, I was hoping to see you again! The Roses were the kindest family I've been in, always asking before taking and chatting and making things happen. I hope they're still alive!

Oh, hi Dad.
You were okay. I saw you die, you were telling women to name kids Dean. It worked on my mom, at least!
Let's hope that Dean Dean XXV doesn't happen (I saw Bob Bob XXV once! )

Hello, Misty!
Ha ha, when we were in game I never thought that we would cross paths again after I was chased. Glad to see you!
I sure wish that I could meet the Eve of that settlement. The Roses were wonderful!
