so I've been trying for the longest time to start up an Eve village, today was the closest I've ever gotten in my life in the foundations of the Thorpe clan however suicidal babies are hindering me, I just really wanna thank the only player who stayed with me and built up our little place even though our future was doomed the moment both my daughters /die'd on me. Thank you Collin, when I checked our tree you weren't on there yet so I hope you live to the full 60 minutes as I did and thank you again for how much you helped build when you have only been playing for a week, it meant a lot to me.
now my question to the more experienced players, what is it that makes you decide to stay or leave an Eve? my camp was suitable and in a lovely food abundant position so is it a case of play style or maybe you just weren't feeling it?
I have to admit I have sometimes spawned in to crowded towns and just though "hell nah!" and hightailed it out of there as fast as my little legs would carry me.

as far as i know, experienced players don't leave an eve, they are trying to get an early camp themselves, so maybe you got less experienced players that wanted easy city life ?
I will be eve tana. If not an eve, my kids will be called numerically : Primo, Duo, Tertio, Quattro, Quintus, Sextus, Septimus, Octavius etc... ending with an -a if you're a girl.

The only way i leave an eve alone if i am a girl is if i really really dont wanna play early start and wanna make a big project.
but prob wat tana said you prob got in experienced playes who wanted a easy city life or maybe they wanted too build a big project.
but i got an eve start without kids or with boys. so those things just happen sometimes.

Well the fact /die isn't lineage banning at the moment just means you can keep getting the same kid in quick succession.
Reasons people leave a camp:
Bad spot - Trying to live outside of desert, too little water, etc.
Nameless Eve - Generally clues the player in that Eve is either new or doesn't care about her lineage. Either of these will cause people to dip.
Eve is new or bad - Some ways to clue yourself in on this: Eve is trying to farm with no bowls, tilling three soil into rows, forge next to water, trying to live in a bad spot.
They don't like Eve runs - Pretty obvious but some players don't like early game and will dip.
fug it’s Tarr.

tbh if i see my eve is bad/noob, i especially want to stay and teach her. I can understand inexperienced players suiciding on those conditions, but as a seasoned one, i feel it's kind of my duty to stay and try to help... even if it fails, if i taught only a couple of things to a new player i'll be happy.

i hate selfish eves, like West just took a food i placed in swamp than bitched about a basket so i killed her later, if you cant afford a basket and a bowl for each of your kids than dotn even play as eve
so rather than killing any annoying person i just quit on them, at least go and find a spot and respect the kid minimally, not everyone is useless
no food/ middle of green biome/ too many females
sometimes i play as eve or eve kid than next life i don't want it, especially as female
i know for a fact that a lot of people try to get back to revenge/finish a project even if they got 0 % chance and some people just want to troll you
my favorite is still gen 2-3 when i decide locations and tools are mostly made

I wouldn't say I'm a seasoned player by any standards, took a long while away from the game and so much has changed when people ask I just say I'm new but help with what I do know, when I'm born to an eve I always, always help her because we really need to get more lineages on the map.
you all have valid points and are probably right about the people wanting the easy city life/big projects but being eve is exciting and you never know what could happen

Pein were you an eve a little while ago? I was Owen Peinado born to an Eve and we had a lovely little spot in the desert

its always fun as an eve if you die really young with one bb girl and that girl saves the lineage.
its always looking if the lineage survived the first 5 gens.

Me too! I love challenges and the early camps are the best for that right now. If I can help an eve, especially if she helps with basics, I'm there to the end doing my best to make it a success. Similarly having experienced kids in gen 2 as an eve myself I love seeing a camp come together. I also don't mind helping fix problems like lack of buckets, no iron to be found, missing vital tools like a file or lack of medic supplies will all see me tear into them to 'fix' the issue.
Big towns attract lazy fuckers who simply sponge, usually while 'rping' or simply seeking attention. I'm not always going to stay in them and may set off to live a solitary life or find another settlement.

yeah i think was server 2
was kinda low pop based on what i seen everywhere else
my first daughter greta was afk and i didn't found a spot and couldn't afford to stay near her 20 min
also i dropped her early cause i had another baby but she just ran away and couldnt pick greta up anymore
i was a bit late but caprica did a good job staying alive
she had 2 babies and both went to 60 years, i seen my grandson, he even made a pen based on last words and granddaughter lived to 60 but had no kids

when I left them everyone was wearing seal skins after I went on a mad seal beating journey
I helped set up three eves yesterday, one of them was really amazing, me and my sister helped her set up an amazing camp but on all the other lives I saw yesterday the amount of /die was scary, in one village we walked about all holding baby bones

Experienced players do not escape from a visperas camp ... quite the opposite.
The big cities are boring.
I prefer to be the daughter of an Eve and help her as much as I can ...
Normally children who commit suicide or flee from an eve are inexperienced players / griefers or assassins who need a big city to create chaos ... these players flee from an early camp since they usually die of hunger without getting anything

my record was like 17 seal skins
people still jumped over skins
i feel ice has its benefits, a few extra stones to make wells faster and seal skin which are hottest (even too hot sometimes, all i ever died starving after a kill i wore a seal skin)
sauerkraut and rose stratification
in long run is too cold and useless, and limits people going that direction so not ideal if to many ice there
my only big rose pen was near ice, so good for a change
