As a girl, I farmed in a rinky dinky town.
Then a rinky dinky man on a rinky dinky horsey wagon rode into town, and told us that Casino Tiwn was dead.
I was a girl, the dead town was only 1 K away, and if I saw another berry I would explode. So I migrated over to Casino Town, and looked around.
It was the biggest town I'd ever seen, with a painted bakery, a proper berry farm, and tons of clothes. So much better than my rinky-dinky town! I walked around, looking at what needed to be done.
Clothes were sorted, as much as possible. Food was ready to bake. I could bake those a little later. Weapons were secure. Sheep were woolly. There was nearly nothing to do, except repopulate.
Then, I saw a huge white building, with the sign, CASINO.
I went in the front, wondering what would be there. A paper told that no kids were allowed. Inside were... Cards?!
There were cards, ten dice, and four boxes. Three boxes had assorted prizes for people, including written tickets to something, like smithing whatever you like. But it was very dirty, and the last box only had one rule: Have fun, and be good. That wasn't very specific, so I decided to run the casino to enforce some rules. I cleaned the room of bones and grile, and moved bowls of pee (?!) out of the way. Then, I wrote some rules.
1. Keep the floor clean. No cows or associated pee.
2. Do not steal prizes.
3. Have some fun.
While I was doing this, the town was filling up with people. A nameless family asked us to name their kids so that their family might have a last name. Other Crosses were hanging about too. I met an old lady, and showed her how to use dice. We gambled for a rule card for one free baby, and I won.
"But I'm too old!"
Out pops a baby. Perfect timing. I named the baby Lucky and sent him on his way.
I spent the rest of my life running the casino. It was hilarious sometimes. Was anyone else there?

Then the Potter family came along after everything had died and tried to get things going again. The casino was empty and cards and dice were strewn all over the town. It looked like God's revenge...
