Now sheep meat can be stored in basket and graves as its small item
grave teleporting is also a thing now, plant near a line of graves, fill them and remove stone put back, item flies away
Mango trees viable after pumps as water no longer an issue
More tree planting guys
Pine tree should be the norm for board/firewood harvesting, no one wants to gather firewood or keep up fire
don't say your kid 'help farm''
say need milkweed farm
firewood
clay and pottery
and pick off berries to bowls
don't plant anything right side of a pond, there goes the upgrade
have wooden boards 2 tiles right to ponds and a kiln to make charcoal, possibly a tree farm
and the new bug is mosquitoes make you immune to any injury and put people on cooldown, delete arrows and make knife bloody

You want only one newcomen pump unless ur constantly using it, because of the fact that it stops deep well's water regen
Offline
Well regen has been nerfed to effective nothingness (one bowl per hour), so you lose effectively nothing by putting a pump on it.
You want at least two pumps close to each other, so that when you light one and it finishes pumping, you can take the first bucket out of the newly pumped well and put it in the other one to give it a full boiler. That way you never accidentally get deadlocked where you need a bucket of water to fill the boiler but you need to fill the boiler to get a bucket of water.
Offline
Well regen is so slow you can only gain by fitting pump and by orders of magnitude
Offline
two pumps is fine as long as you have many cisterns. Probably don't even need to rush to upgrade most shallow wells into deep as you can
at least get water directly from them, the extra buckets could go into making milk.

Two full cisterns next to 4 pumps, all pumps dry and nubs shouting no water!! I kid you not..

I wondered myself why I don't see any maple tree farms. Only plant them ones, remotely near the smithy/kitchen and have a practically endless supply of branches (if you make say a 5x5 field).
I recently wanted to start one, but only got 4, since female and been constantly interrupted by children, and in a later life saw only 2 of them made it as someone else needed to water them a second time.

Try to write your post in a more presentable way, like:
Mutton and porkchop are now small items instead of large so they can fit in baskets and on graves.
Grave teleporting is also a thing now: (I didn't understand how he tried to explain it)
Mango trees are viable after pumps are made as water no longer an issue after that.
Plant more trees, as trees can be used as fuel for pumps
Pine tree should be the norm for board/firewood harvesting, no one wants to gather firewood or keep the fire alive. (why pine trees?)
Don't say 'help farm'' to your kids, be more specific, like:
- Need a milkweed farm
- Help plant trees and gather firewood
- Get more clay for plates and bowls
- Pick berries and put them in bowls
Don't plant anything on the right side of a pond, the upgrade is placed there.
Have wooden Floor 2 tiles to the right of ponds and a kiln nearby to make charcoal, possibly a tree farm near as well for more fuel.
Also the new bug is mosquitoes bites that make you immune to any injury. (I think it was fixed?)

Mosquitoes used to heal wounds. They don't any longer. However as I read this, now as long as you have yellow fever, you are immune to injury. I don't see this helpful tough, it's not like I'm planning to get wounded..

it doesn't justify 3 iron to have a noobproof pump, you got five in it, you need five buckets, you can fit 4 in a horsecart and take to a cistern, put back the last one, if you fuck it up you can use smaller wells to fill a bucket or some ponds
if you got two, at least space it out
i got today some iron and a chick immediately started tilling one soil, live for the moment, the stupid smith spent 30 min of life to make all the tools lets fuck it up asap
they died 4 gen later with 13 iron sitting NE and 2 vein SW

the mosquito thing is reverse now, if you already yellow, human inflicted injury wont kill you
the arrow diappears and the knife wont kill you, they go on murder cooldown
so if you run away from weapon, run into the jungle, either you get mosquitoed and they cannot kill you or they, and drop weapon
you still die from snake or animals

I mean you technically can make a sort of bear lock that requires yellow fever to pass through. Basically think like an airlock people make for sheep pens but instead of a homemarker blocking entry its a dangerous animal. If you attempt to just kill the bear you'll just block access to whatever is on the other side due to bears blocking movement. Hell if the arrows are left in the bear will never despawn so potentially the area is locked until someone pulls out the arrows, and skins it (unskinned bear takes two hours to despawn.)
Is this actually any use? Probably not but it makes for some neat potential ideas people could use.
Edit: Jk didn't see pein's post on it and tried it out. Apparently death by mosquito swarm is what occurs when an animal injury would kill you instead of yellow fever.

You can just take the last bucket of water from a pump and put it right into the boiler of the same pump tho. No need for two.
If you really want more water storage make cisterns
Offline
Having two pumps (or a cistern next to a single pump) is absolutely necessary to guard against accidental deadlock.
If there are two pumps, a smart player will always check both every visit. If one is dry, take a bucket from the wet one and fill the dry one's boiler.
If there is one pump and a cistern, a smart player will always check the pump every visit. If it's wet, empty it into the cistern, and put the last bucket back into the boiler. If it's dry, take a bucket from the cistern and put it into the boiler. If the boiler is filled, leave it alone and get water from the cistern. If the cistern is empty, fetch coal and fire the boiler, then empty it into the cistern and put the last bucket back into the boiler.
If there is only one pump and no cistern, a smart player will be screwed, because a dumb player will get there first and take the last bucket without refilling the boiler.

its still not worth 3 iron imo, you can find a pond and fill bucket with a bowl
same as carrot seeds
if you boil water wait it and take it out put one back
noobs cannot run a pump so if you do it right after then you can fill it back
there is not a single thing you should use up 5 buckets of water
even with mango is decent to fix 4 at a time, even if you make 2 pumps should be on other side of swamp, somewhere where you make a new outpost

That's reasonable.

You have to fire the boiler, take out five buckets, and put one back. To do that all at once so that the noobs can't take the last bucket, you either need to bring five buckets to the well when you fire it, or have a cistern nearby.

You should absolutely have a cistern or more.
