Hi new friends,
I noticed that one of the more advanced cities did some renovating to their bakery (the bakery is to the right of the town, walled in, city has a castle south and two bell towers to the east).
It looked like someone broke down the front walls of the bakery to expand it out another couple of floor spaces...but it also looked like someone might have blown out the front walls to get better visibility to the bakery.
As a three week player that has been consistently getting better and is REALLLY INTO THIS GAME- i'd like to make sure I'm helping in the proper way.
Are front walls/doors of working buildings being taken down due to lack of visibility?
Should doors only be placed on the sides/backs of buildings?
If so, I apologize for rebuilding a couple of adobe walls in the front.

Adobe walls decay so what is likely happening is people aren't plastering the walls within the 10 hour time frame they have before they start to crack. Once they start to crack they require more clay added within 30 minutes or they become those small piles of rubble you are seeing.
But yeah, it's not because people don't like fronts to buildings, it's just people aren't actually caring to finish adobe walls like always.
fug it’s Tarr.

Walls are bad.
They keep people going from point A to Point B. They cramp up space and can be used to lock people or stuff out (or in) rooms.
I for one is against Walls!
The only pro I can think of right now for walls they keep mosquitos out (But they also keep everything from passing through)
If you want to make stuff try floors and roads. They are nicer and useful
