Yes I needed it entirely for myself, for very long time and finally made it...!!!!
now you can simulate anything you wanna try!!
make a blueprint of your own town, demonstrate a sheep pen,
... or just play around with it!
I just wanna see how everyone has a different ideal town!

but there's some weak points, and I'd really like a suggestion plz
1. one tile must be 48x48 pixel which makes the resolution bad..
2. limit of available tiles : IDK why but I can only use 128 tiles per a page
that's why items are all put together as closely as possible... :'(
3. you can only overlap three tiles. If you put more, the first tile disappear!!!
(biggest bummer)
4. you can't drag n drop a tile..
▶plz tell me if you know any other program that can overcome this problem!◀

To change tileset, download the images I made

put them in C:\Users\Administrator\Documents\Games\Project1\img\tilesets
go to database(F9) -> tileset -> change A~E

*first page(A) is automatic ground tile as a default
that's why it makes a weird object. (only A5 is normal)
*If you want to delete a tile, just click empty tile from page A
*If you want to add/change an item, simply download image from onetech
and reduce the image to 37%. then use photoshop:
edit -> preference -> guide -> gridline every 48 pixel

to make any picture become a background, you need to make it a seamless tile
to do so, you first resize it to square then offset it, so the edges go inside it, then fix the seams
something like this:
then just make a pattern of a tile and use as a layer
snagit editor allows stamps, which you need to manually drag, but you can use multiple
delete or swap out, only that they cover each other by the order of them

lol, I was doing the same thing in Paint. Then I realized that I could not control where water is located. I recommend your eve finds a suitable location; then, start making schematics.

that's absolutely right.
so there are two cases, either
you play at private server where spawn point is set, and you want to plan on building something perfect and magnificent.
(screenshot the location and use that image as background of RPGmaker)
or
you just want to demostrate general or imaginative town schematics
this should be better than using paint or snagit
you don't have to manually adjust the item,
I made sure all items are at exact same spot just like the game;)

to be fair, its bad to make generic structures or generic locations or "meta" pens
adapting to current map has a lot of advantages, you got different heatmap each time, and building on warmer locations has its benefits for the food consumption, and nobody overheats
generally you want to put farms next to water on warmer tiles, kiln next to branches and clay, oven after pen
pen on a corner of city, to dump bones somewhere, and next to some warmer location for the oven (its 2 adobe only so you can make new one)
rather than planning out distances and setups for generic cities
except walled jungle, they are awesome, the only thing you cannot move is ponds and wells so you got to think which one you upgrade fully, still the engine well needs to be made fast or you need to make a newcommen well
you can plan with cisterns still
