I hear the Bell but where is it?

How do you know where the bell is tolling from? I've heard people say that the bell will attract other people, but how do they know which way to go?

it's like a home marker, i believe you only see it if you don't have a home marker.

yeah remember that 4k is like 40 minutes of walking or something (I don't remember the exact number) so if you see a home far away it's always either a bell or your mom traveled a long way and it's her previous home.

If you remove your own homemarker you see the bellhomemarker.

I made it to anal-town from 3k meter away (I found a free hoursecard running around - must be pretty old as the baskets in it decayed while I was riding to anal town)
