I was eve-chaining on server1 and didn't pay attention to my hunger and die as 57yr old lady. I am not very far yet, however I really love the land I build my town on. It's in the jungle, so perfect temp but only has 1 moskito in it and it's hard for it to even come close. There is lots of water really close. The smithy has 5 wild berry bushes and 7 banana trees around it. The only downside is I only have 3 rabbits closeby. And want to go back to that place... But I died.
So I played a new Eve round and focused on collecting a ton of foe, with the idea for my next life I craft a backpack and clothes and travel back. However.. looking at the coordinates today I see I have to travel around 7000 meter.
Do you think it's doable?
I was also thinking about taming a horse, making scissors and a knife, to make a saddle. Both items I could bring back in my backpack. However I need a fence too, and that sucks as I can not bring this tools back unless I make a card for the horse too..
I probably have to travel into the general direction, then die to old age, wait a day to get new coordinates to adjust my travel and finally find home again. Hopefully bringing some iron or iron tools back..

Depending on where the spiral starts, it's doable. You can just keep pressing towards your coords one life at a time as long as you're super careful. The other thing is to hope for the Eve spiral to come back around closer after the weekly reset. I believe it's centered on the longest lineage? I forget the exact mechanic. It's described in a thread.

I read about the spirale.. but I have no clue how it works. You think it's possible to get spawns that will be closer? How can I found if the spawn will be closer?

if you really want to return, your best bet would be to walk towards it over two or three lives. There is a program, OLCoordinates, which tells you how far you are from where you spawned, which should come in handy to keep track of your locations. I think it isn't really worth it to try and make a horse cart at a random location, you will be making a new village in effect. I was lucky when I lost my eve chain, found someone else's advanced village and could easily make a horse cart to get home the next day.
The eve spiral means that new Eves spawn in a spiral around a central point. Since a lot of people make a village close to where they spawn, if you spawn as Eve, and you head NW, or NE, or SW, or SE there is a 1/4 chance you will find someone's village because you are heading towards the center of the spiral. In a depopulated server, you will also probably spawn to the next spot of the spiral after your own village, so there should also be a 1/4 chance you get back to where you were.
