Have you ever seen aperson mudered by a snowball in real life?
Common sense is that this doesn't make sense.
Snow Ball murder looked like there was no Debuff.
Snowball occurs infinitely and the person who throws it doesn't slow down or paralyze.
victim dies immediately and cannot curse the perpetrator or warn the family about the murder.
have to die slowly, as if were wounded by an animal or a weapon. And we need to be able to heal it.
I think it's better to stay in a warm place.
It's strange that we can survive being stabbed or bitten by a wolf, but we can't cure a snowball wound.

Yes, but in real life people can be murdered by a long straight shaft or any other tools, while in the game we can be murdered only by snowballs, knife and bow&arrow, so I think it`s balanced.
Also it helps A LOT to kill griefers on eve villages. Basically if someone griefe an Eve village, the village dies. So it is nice to have snowballs to protect ourselves. Snowballs save a entire village, while a murder can kill just one person if no one is near enough to feed them and the it lowers the murder temp a lot, so they will die if they aren`t near of some food resource.
I`ve never had big problems because of snowballs, whenever someone kill without a reason (Using bow, snowball or knife), people kill that person and curse as well. And if you throw a snowball on a griefer, they will drop their weapon and it is nice if a griefer steals the only knife or the only snowball.

I have been hit with snowballs and lived, I think it may be a percent chance that it kills you, or based on temp, not entirely sure. Sanshuba is correct though, it's important to have an early method of protection. Once you manage to craft real weapons just block the snowbank off with snowmen. I also enjoy seeing the army of snowmen in towns now and then, gives me a wee laugh for some reason.
