I want to buy the game and I have to enter my adress?

Is there really a need for the developer to know my name and adress?
Because if I really have to enter, I won't buy it.

Is it ok if I just enter "-" or something in those fields or does my account get banned for that?

You can always enter a fake adress, I highly doubt Jason has the time/care to check everyones adress. Its just a standard thing on the internet nowadays when you order stuff.

Jason has the STRANGEST set of fans. One is "CRYPTO OR BUST" the other is "KNOWING MY ADDRESS IS LITERALLY THE NEXT HOLOCAUST". Knowing your address is a little bit different than say, requiring access to your wife's cellphone pictures.

Is every person playing this game, someone who has never bought another game before? Or, much more likely, it seems that eccentric people are always the loudest.

Either way, this is very entertaining to sit back and watch.

My guess, it's for future purposes, let's say if someday he opted to sell merch, or maybe a subscription type deal? Well then, he'd need your address for deliveries, right? Maybe you just sign in with your account and ask for it, Idk.

Meh I certainly dont like my adress going around on the internet. Lets say the Database ever get compromised, which isnt a new thing. Now Everybody on the internet can see all the information you put. nah..... definitly not a fan of spreading real info on the internet.

That's what I would assume. Usually when you order with a credit card you at least need to use your zip and/or phone number in the verification process.

I'm not even sure if Jason stores that data or only uses them during payment and discards later on.
Also, I believe those to be needed for risk analysis.
