First of all, men need an advantage, even if its not gameplay advantage
remove all beards from all men chars and add a new beard minigame, where you can grow it, cut it and have some style
who wouldn't want a hipster grandpa or a braided beard on a warrior?

I could imagine using the shears and being able to remove your beard, or girls cutting their hair shorter.

What about hair rollers? You would wear them for like 2 min then get to pick a new hair style/bear style. That way it would be more clear who is changing.

if we had jewelry we would need to start spelunking (mining) as gold and jewels would be to rare! have bear caves become mines if humans start working in them I think that mining would also help the Iron problem!

After reading this I definitely want an update with:
-Jewelry
-Maybe makeup derived from blue + red pigments
-Cutting hair / beards
-Silk clothes
Because, let's face it: We need to establish a hierarchy, and crowns aren't cutting it any more. There aren't just kings and peasants, there are also the noble lords and ladies who don jewelry, makeup, silk clothes and elaborately styled hair. +1 to this whole topic!
(Also, unrelated to the history, I think this is a good idea for rp reasons)

While I would love something, like maybe higher max hunger/slower hunger drain for men, I don't think that will happen, but with the accessibility of food, that's not much of a worry, as it's always worth it to keep a child.

Cutting hair shorter would be great actually. When I'm a certain couple of girls, Its actually really hard to click backpack due to my hair literally getting in the way. Hair can kill.
