Is there a way to update without redo tutorial

i tried looking on the forum could not find answer, currently when i update i just delete then start over with the download link. am i stupid ?

You shouldn't be deleting anything to update.. it's automatic lol. Literally log in after an update rolls out and the system will do it for you. Doing it your way, no, there is no way to prevent it from resetting the tutorial.

Are you playing through Steam? Do you use a modded client?

You should not need to re-download every time or go through the tutorial again. The regular client will update automatically whenever a new update is available.
