I just found an other family 3000 tiles away

I brought a cart and a few pies but ate mostly wild food

i was too far still when i was 36, had to abandon my last girl

i brought them as a gift 5 cinnabars

they are quite rare, and going trough a lot of deserts i had more chance to find some
then people who are going in circles from a city

would have been possible to take or make baskets and get more

i think is a nice gesture to get 16-17 cinnabars/lapis lazuli on such instances.

I was in a star outpost, and i made it to the Aga family who lost their name long ago, they were going 30 gen, i know cause i asked them to kill me at 58

When I go looking for other settlements I fill my cart with baskets of rope. I wish one could put 3 lassos in a basket. I find so much milkweed in the wild that when a parent asks me to grow it I say "OK" then go out of town and just pick it and bring it back.

yeah but that takes a while, depends, if you know distances, you know it takes like 20 mi nto get there, if you are female you wont stop so many times
