Eves: don't have the same eve name!

We got so little information about the camps we like
One is the family name

when you name yourself the same, your descendants will be named the same, then you can not distinguish them
you cannot know if they died out or not

eve dupont: did it like 3 times and most towns survived, that's nice
i get you might want to make a name as an eve, but i totally expected to be back in big city and was a starter camp, not even near the big city, totally new line

you can have similar eve names, the list is long
try to make unique eve names, messes up any kidn of cartography during my marathons

kinker and old dupont was barely 300 tiles away! i brought a girl home when we havent had any left
duplicate eve names create lot of confusion, i could just know where i am if you name yourself unique

The Dupont girl is not on discord or is a user of these forums. She is a steam user. I have chatted with her a few times.

Eve Dupont didn't name all of her Eves that, that I'm aware of. I was in a family of Dupont's that started as nameless and got named by a Dupont at some point and carried on.

I just had Eve Dupont as my daughter in the main bell town. I passed along the word that we need different family names for the maps, and encouraged her to join these forums. Maybe she'll say hi if she stops in ???

I asked her to only use the name once a week, or wait until it dies out.

What a pain to get registered to that thing! I am too old for that!!
I kind of understand the problem with keeping the same name always... People get confused... well... I must admit I am really not into videos games or forums and such. I always try and try and try and spend a lot of time being in suicide mode just trying to get back to my family line but after a huge amount of tries, I just start a new line thinking I never get back to my camp because... it is dead... Anyway, I will try and take another name or just play less. Have fun playing guys :-)

The game won't let you get back to your old family immediately if you lived past 30 there. That's probably why trying to suicide back into your old camp doesn't work. After I think it's three hours of gameplay or 24 hours in the real world, if they're still going, you might have a chance to get back to them, but the game is meant to encourage you to live lots of different kinds of lives in different places.

If you want to see if your family is still going, you can always check them on the family tree browser!
