I've tried "you own this" while holding a child. I've tried "NAME owns this" and neither worked? do I need to stand on the gate or be inside of it? It would be nice if it was like a curse and you had some indication that you did it correctly right now I have to ask "can you open that gate?" and many people don't know what I'm talking about.
Also, it *is* time consuming. I would rather just auto-add kids... is walking them over the gate enough?
Lastly, it's a bit tricky to put gates on buildings if there is a corner people can just walk around which is funny, but also kinda disappointing if you thought you set it up properly.
Last question for the forum... how do you remove a person?

You don't. Adding people isn't meant to be trivial, which is the reason for many of the things you're complaining about.
Well, I guess you technically could remove a person, but it would mean murdering them.
Also, it would be nice to get some sort of indicator that it actually worked. I don't feel like that's asking for too much.

Believe you're right, but don't believe you can't be wrong.

"You own this" only works if there is only one person to talk to within a distance (I think it's the screen.)
Auto-adding kids or a /owner for your closest owned gate would be nice, names are easy to misspell. Along with that should be a /curse so that kids can curse as well.
And there is no way to remove a person from a gate unless you kill them. I don't see why there's no command or talk or anything like that to remove someone (unless they gave you ownership.) /remove would do just fine.

You have now laid eyes upon the one and only Raidan Allcock on the leaderboards.

Unfortunately, no. Carrying children over a threshold does not add them to the gate.
If it did, we wouldn't be able to abduct other people's kids and trap them in human zoos. And wouldn't that be a shame?
