I have always wondered if ohol is Jason’s full time job, or does he just do it when he’s not doing his other job. And if this is his full time job how does he make his income since this game has no micro-transactions (which is amazing!). There’s only ever been 150 people max playing at one time and maybe a 1000 people every week. It would be great if Jason let these stats show.

There was a thread a bit ago that linked to Jason's GDC 2018 video where he describes how he spends his time, and an article about his 2019 presentation that talks some sales of his games.

According to here and steamspy he sold about 65000 copies, most for $20.

That's about $ 1.3 million. Let's say he can keep 50% (Tax, Steam, Server, Website) and still has $ 700,000. It is probably more. (Steam keeps 30% and maybe some taxes.)

I'm pretty sure he's a pizza delivery guy in his main job ...
Correction thats about 1.3 million over the 4~5 years he spent making the game (most of which were before release so he has grossed 6 figures per year worked at this point

Yes, I've been a "full-time" game developer with no other job for 15 years now.
My games started making a decent amount of money back in 2010, and the following games have made a decent amount of money each since then:
Sleep is Death
Inside a Star-filled Sky
The Castle Doctrine
One Hour One Life
We live off the savings from the last game while I make the next game. We still had a bit of savings left from The Castle Doctrine when One Hour One Life launched.
I have a wife and three kids, and I'm the sole source of income supporting them.
One problem with the numbers you're running is that only off-Steam sales give close to $20 (my off-Steam payment processor takes 8%).
On-Steam, the game is sold at different prices around the world (usually between $10 and $20), and Steam takes 30%, and on top of that, the return rate on Steam is huge: 20%. A ton of people use Steam to "try before you buy," and of course, OHOL isn't for everyone.
So.... I seem to be getting, on average, only 50% of the gross that Steam reports. I wish GDC would put things on YouTube already, but here's my talk from this year:

150 unique people playing at one time is a lot of people. It seems like a small number, but those are just people playing this very moment. On Bigserver2 this past Sunday, there were 1291 unique players.
In the month of April this year on Bigserver2, there were 7808 unique players.
In March 2019, there were 8048 unique players.

Your game is great jason, you're doing an awesome job

I'm kind of surprised by the skepticism here. Just because I've had criticism of Jason's choices (some based on what Jason has said he wants to accomplish with the game), that doesn't mean I don't understand that the game has a good amount of complexity to it. The game is rather complex in my opinion, so I can see how it took a while to develop. Rome wasn't built in a day.

You were making a "choker" game too, right? Here's the youtube video:

Still in development?
You have now laid eyes upon the one and only Raidan Allcock on the leaderboards.

Choker was made for a design contest. Read the description on that video for more info.
