I just wanted to tank you for open-sourcing the game. One of the best forms of study is to study the work of those who came before you. And it keeps me up at night that so many games out there have their source codes hidden, no new aspiring developer can study from the code of others in those cases.

Are you concerned about someone forking your code and removing the authentication and running their own server?

Gus: He actually provides instructions to run your own server, stickied on this thread. That's a bold and courageous statement by Jason IMO

To be fair the real experience is not the game itself, but the interactions with other players. I had fun learning recipes on my own server, but real fun is on the official server and you cant join it without the license.
