Why do kids like bigger towns?

futurebird wrote:

Most kids won't stay in the smaller town. They will run to the biggest town they can find.

Why is this the case?

Why do people not like early gen settlements?

Just curious about people's insights.

Re: Why do kids like bigger towns?

As of right now, it's because I want to master the many languages present in the big cities, and learn what the best way of going about learning is, or what words are most necessary for translating

Re: Why do kids like bigger towns?

A larger town can support someone that is learning the game better, earlier camps need everyone to be working constantly. I learned by only playing eve camps, because I like to learn from the base up. Being able to live on my own to 60 gave me the confidence to be a part of a larger town without feeling like I was draining resources. Others do this the opposite, and want to learn when there is surplus around by being in later towns.

This really comes down to player preference though, I would say that its almost equal, those that like new camps vs advanced towns, and whether they are a new player or seasoned player, isn't a huge part of it.

If I wrote a response to this post, it would look just like this.^^

I aim to leave behind a world that is easier for people to live in that it was before I got there.

Re: Why do kids like bigger towns?

when we started the game, most runs failed, run in forest, you die or everyone around you and you just wish for some food to start with
but if there are options then people want to see things

not everyone does it, the ones who never had succesfull Eve runs do it more often
eve runs teach people how hard the game actually is
seems like the new clothes are very poplar too, some people just want to talk for 60 min wearing dumb color dresses
