yeah its just not as often, and dying as a baby will remove your ability to be an Eve, great step in the right direction. Too many eves is not healthy for the game.

If you miss the ability to play as an Eve, you can always try playing on one of the low population servers.   Changing your server settings is quick and easy.    And if you live to 60 on a low pop server, you will respawn back at your death spot, so you can keep working on your camp even without kids.

Depends on what they are going after. Actually being an Eve, or just being part of early game, which is lacking right now. I miss early game camps and working with players that usually were more down to put in the work needed to get a camp off the ground. That wouldn't exactly be solved by playing by myself.

If you would rather have the experience of Eving on the main server, just wait until you are born female in a small town and then set off into the forest at a young age.  Keep walking until you reach virgin territory.   By the time you are old enough to have children, you should be pretty far from your original town.   Ideally, look for a spot with an iron vein nearby, since iron is precious.    And travel diagonally, if you want to reduce the chance of contact with your old town.   Positioning your town directly East/West or North/South will make it more likely to be found by travellers.
