But it makes sense, i always name my kids so if one of them turns into a murderer i can tell who it is.
Also i try to give them positive names in the hope they will do positive things.

I don't slaughter, but if I don't have a first and last name I'm pretty likely to run off into the wilderness and starve.

Of course, I'm pretty likely to do that anyway, just less likely if I have a first and last name.

Yeah, it didn't like Voltron, Megatron, or Lion-O. Meg worked well, though, since Megatron was a girl and the kids seem to remember their full name regardless of what the game names them.

I like when Someone wants to name there boy doom and it turns into dora i just laughed really hard and mocked that person named dora.

Then i got karma and was named Sunflower my next life. and i was a boy too

if you survived to self sufficiency & were given milk by your mother then that player cared a great deal

but you will probably have loved all those mothers who gave me a name & then i starved to death

Same. I've got very little interest in playing if I'm doing so for a surname-less family. I will stay if I know it has many generations (e.g. seventh cousins etc).

I was sad when the game renamed the kid I wanted to call "Carrot" into "Carrol".
We're a society that exists because of carrots! It's only logical that we'd want to name our precious kids after our most valued food-source!
