i just got killed by a fucking snowball

it seems like if you are holding something, in my case a note, or maybe it has to be from one tile away I dont actually know, but it instantly kills you. not fun.

Yes, hopefully we can get exact steps to reproduce.

I haven't been able to reproduce it at all on my end.  I snowball like silly and no one ever dies.
