I was in one town where the eve was buried and had a marked grave. Because I was related to them, when I hovered over the grave the "great" part kept repeating and went off the screen. I'm sure it was near 3,000. I wish I could have taken a screenshot, but I didn't know how to do it on the non-steam version
Also I went to donkey town for roleplaying, there was some bones there reaching 1,000.

Oldest I've seen was ~1400.
Out of curiosity, has anyone ever watched bones that were very old? I once watched a 6X great grandmother's bones turn 500. It was fun.

before most recent apocalypse, i found a coprse, datet "died 2,2 years ago", so i guess, when its over 2000, its text goes badly confusing  in how it shortens large number without adding a kilo, because it definitely is never that precise, and noone diied there less than 3 years ago.

I saw one over 3000. I was a woman I had buried in Rodwins before it was called Rodwins. I just kept going back to that town and every time I would check the grave.

A super old pile of bones though is strange, as it should have decayed. That seems to indicate to me that someone has picked it up and moved it several times, resetting the decay timer.

I always love finding 1000+ corpses. You can learn alot of history based on them.

Sometimes when bored, I just go and explore. Even collecting old bones and giving them a proper burial back home.

It's even better when you find an ancient grave of your direct annestor.
