It's still a work-in-progress and has a few missing features. One of them is that it doesn't take into account the number of uses an item has.
A Full Monolith actually requires 3 Gold Ingots in order to fill completely, not just one.

Not sure which server I was on, but i spawned as a baby and very soon after, not even making it to 2 years old, the Apocalypse came and wiped us out. i wonder if it begins in a place and radiates outward? I got home less than an hour ago and saw on my roommates monitor that he died of old age, and I died in less than two minutes.

My crazy guess... The servers can't handle the number of objects that get created so the solution was to make it easy to wipe out a server. Talk about taking griefing to a whole new level...

Man, this just killed my motivation in a big way. I moved to a high numbered server so that I could try my hand at building a nice town from scratch, put in about 5 hours today on it and it was coming along beautifully. Go to check on it again tonight, ... gone. I went to a high number server to avoid the bs caused by a high population server, but their shenanigans caught me here too. So now you can push towards apocalypse and grief 10+ servers at a time? Ugh.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm the one who caused the apocalypse and I also had a pet city, Ovenpost. Been working on that one for weeks. It was important for me to know how easy it is to do this sort of thing, and just what happens, because now both you and I know not to get attached to cities in this game.

Eh, I'm not mad at anyone in particular, of course it was going to be triggered as quickly as possible, I don't blame anyone. It is unfortunate that it is across servers, although that does make for a more effective apocalypse I suppose. Nice job on Oventown, I'd spent a few lives there, mostly cleaning up clutter.

This just seems really weird. The method of destroying everything doesn't make sense at all, and it is too easy, and hits too big of an area.

I guess ill take a break from this game till the Apocalypse is either way futher up the tech tree or just removed. Kinda annoying to have the servers restarted so frequently. Makes the fun core feature of the game pointless.
