the 3 goods that hold great value and are somewhat exchangeable:
Kero, iron, water
Kero can be converted to iron with a mine and to water with a diesel pump
thus Iron is connected to water as opportunity cost ( not a hard connection as other ways to obtain iron and water exist)
with that premise, we can get an idea of what is approximately their exchange rate in the late game.
Kero to water: 1 dose of Kero is 69.4 units of Water
Kero to Iron: 1 dose of Kero is 5 units of Iron
Water to Iron: 69.4/5 = 13.8 units of water to 1 unit of iron as opportunity cost.
I have made a cost/efficient sheet for foods as well as clothing it using Water as currency.
It is not perfect cause I haven't input the cost of wood and working hours yet but its good enough for now.
Costs that have been converted are to water currency are: Iron (tool uses), Soil, water
enjoy.

Playing OHOL optimally is like cosplaying a cactus: stand still and don't waste the water.

a berry bowl cost 1.4 units of water just for the record
The real value is labor hours.
It will be fixed when Bots arrive from modders

I hear you on wanting prices to be fixed by labor, I wrote calculations for it in order for trading bots like you're thinking. But I realized at the end of the day
the exchange rates will still be subjective and better quantified via supply and demand and subjective utility. Also not to mention exact labor rates remove profit which makes the trading endeavor in game at the end of the day no more efficient and keeps prices static regardless of the disconnect between supply and demand.

I could pay someone some pies or water or iron if he worked for me for 5 minutes or smth. I could hire someone to bring lots of kindling or firewood or smith some iron to steel.
The thing is there will be no trading in this game, probably ever.
