Please don't remove back access to wall shelves

It's seriously so nice and convenient. It keeps people out of the kitchen so they can work without having 4 people coming in looking for their yum pie. It's been working great for sheep and mutton transportation as well. It makes it less of an annoying task to bring it to the kitchen.

Please

I'm Slinky and I hate it here.

Re: Please don't remove back access to wall shelves

That was always a bug, though, and it makes walls insecure (which fights locks).

There could be some other kind of "insulated shelf" added in the future to make up for this.

Can we have a big free-standing shelf?   I need more places to put my pies.

Without an actual 3d game you might as well let people still access shelves. Not like you can put shelves on all 4 walls right now.

Re: Please don't remove back access to wall shelves

maybe a trading box, either on set of rules or manual swap

player A puts something to box, player B does the same, items are locked
now they both confirm or cancel if both agree then the items change place

the automatic one, based on a set of rules, maybe needs two boxes, first you make the sample
a plate for a pie, then anyone who puts a plate on the A side, receives a pie from the B side and the plate goes to some storage

Re: Please don't remove back access to wall shelves

DON'T FIX IT!! my family used this bug before to keep our last female alive once upon a time when a griefer uncle locked them inside a building. It kept her an her babies from starving while we crafted a way to free them. I also feel this could be used as a sort of time out prison system idk just saying. this "bug" is a anti locked building griefing tool. saved many lives.
