What is the Worst Item in OHOL?

Jason could change how being poisoned by a snake would work. You could be impaired for a much longer period of time. Slow movement and unable to use tool for up to 5 minutes before you die. Then seeking out help would make sense, and keeping some anti venom around would be useful.

But if you ask me, all ways to get die seem to not give enough time to get healed. Yellow fever is the only thing I survive more than it kills me. Wolf, bear, or snake bite? Forget it, you're dead 99% of the time (snake is statistically 100%). Knife or arrow? Away from town, 100% death. In town, you might ave a 5% chance. It would be nice if players could do any kind of first aid to buy you some more time, or even allow using a dirty pad to save you, but then you'd need treatment for infection that would still kill you, but at least you'd have more time to deal with that. And if you die of infection, well you likely would have died anyway so you really didn't lose anything.

I would say mean pit bulls have more use than the rest of the dogs. Not a good use but it at lease serves some function.

Stone hoe is pretty bad, but the rest of the dogs are probably the most useless things in the game.

Yellow fever is the only remotely deadly thing in ohol. It's silent and hidden in massive jungles. Animals make sound and are harmless in transition while they're moving. Even murdering players would be less dangerous if you weren't forced into tight proximity. Jungle is the only biome that you should have any caution moving through. Even dense swamps are trivial if you take half a second here or there to wait for hogs to move.

I reallly really hate wood shoes

it's just fricking absurd that people cut a whole tree for a half shoe

and that blocks town from having floors, carts and buckets
and hose shoes always end up behind trees

Yeah we don´t have enough trees on the map... oh wait. Even if you cut two hunger work trees thats two berries worth of food for my shoes and four firewoodwood. The only real problem is using the adze as tool, you will never run out of trees. Any other shoe decay and uses thread which is a waste. Unless you plan on making snakes sandals for everyone. Don´t touch my fancy shoes.

I've suggested that two shoes should come from one log, and they should just stay together as a pair of shoes. At least let us stack two shoes together in one tile. Right? The fact that you can't put two shoes together unless they are in a basket, box or backpack is silly.

That's a good idea, it could be very similar to flint chips.

one life two twin guys made 24 shoes cutting out a whole swamp

then they left the adze there so someone made new, wasting the iron

then nobody ever used most of those shoes

100x100 eventually gets used up and nobody plants trees.
the map is full of trees, yes, but the close proximity should really be converted into boards
90% of any building is transporting resources

the lazy asses who just use up what others gathered are worse than griefers
I never get a life where I got 24 adobe ready to build some shit

if I bring some adobe, it gets wasted on stupid pillars

Its ok Pein I´ll get you some adobe from time to time, dont get angry. Let the people have shoes. I agree with you, most people don´t even understand how important is to gather useful stuff. In fact my last ten lives have mostly been as a hunter for clothing, gathering adobe and making paper.

I can understand the shirts too, they are warmer than Newcomen clothes, they decay but it's a buff over other clothes, if anyone wears them
3 fur could make 3 loin cloths or a hat and a loin cloth, using wool, even 6 shoes

shawls are the fake medium choice, waste of others time and resources

OK, fair enough. But, like the last time I played I was in a town and someone was going crazy rabbit hunting. Everyone had pants/loincloths and hats (mostly straw), and there were sooooo many extra backpacks. It wasn't a large town and they had so much fur but not everyone had a shirt, including me. More loincloths would just have eaten up thread. I don't recall if everyone had shoes or not. Anyway, I made like three shawls but that's because there was exactly 9 cloth if memory is correct. So depending on the circumstances, if everything else is covered I say, might as well make a few. If this ever happens again, I'll remember to check shoe inventory too. I usually don't even think about footwear.

No, really!

The people making it are never involved in any sort of serious project with respect to civilization building. It's a sort of gaffe at best. But, really, it's people not involving themselves in a multiplayer game of civilization building, and they often kill their children, further indicating that they don't care about parenting in the game. It goes against core concepts. And it gets worse...

I don't agree on that one Destiny. In a way, it's like a technological version of the penguin in that it's something that only has aesthetic function at present. But, it differs from the penguin in that it involves civilization building.
