there's 6 characters that lived to age 4.

15 characters died of starvation before age 3.

Of those 15 characters who died of starvation, 7 of them lived to age 1, suggesting that they had gotten fed by someone (of course, that might not have been the Eve doing the feeding).

I also don't think it was like the server had 100, let alone 80 people on it when this happened.  She would have had more children if the server had had more players on it at the time.

Somewhat similar to The Rift, this game isn't prepared for all that much, if any, growth in player population (alright, the player population couldn't grow *at all* during some periods of The Rift at the very least).
