Toxic is trying to steal accounts

A player called Toxic (aka Bal) made a website that looks like the real one in order to steal accounts
this is how it looks like:

DO NOT enter your information into it.
here are some screenshots of things he said:


(pxshadow gave me this screenshot, he was telling toxic to not do it, the python talk is about something else, px was no helping toxic to do the account stealing in any way)

this is his public hash in the life logs: 5f772649bdb9191e76237f8ddcfe537052bc5bfd
(maybe jason can use it to find out his real identity)

he also threatened us with ddos
and was trying to hack the game server

He has multiple in game account other than that hash. Of course finding them for Jason won't be hard since he has them linked with the credit card

Just full disclosure, In case people get confused.
Those are direct messages between me and toxic that I sent to whatever/hetuw for more evidence, as I remembered at that time Toxic also told me before I knew about the account phishing that he attempted to create a modified awbz client to phish with it, because he told me he didn't publish it I took it as credible at the time as I thought why would he tell me if he was actually doing this. Little did I know it was foreshadowing to what he was doing.

Also the reason for communication with him in the first place was that he wanted cross-compiled python code for my open source modded client OpenLife as a back-end architecture for building bots in the game (OpenLife would deal with reading object data and sending and receiving messages from the OneLife server) the bot infrastructure was all on his side.

I hope that clears anything up, please don't hesitate to reach out to me, I feel sick to my stomach and I'm sorry for not knowing sooner.

@Jason, I would advise you to follow through with this. He most likely paid the game with a Credit Card of some sort that can be traced back to an identity that can then be reported to the authorities.

This is a serious crime which, depending on where they live, has an minimum jail time of 1+ year(s).

Good work on neatly combining everything in 1 place! Reports to the webhost, discord and google have already gone out. And potential legal follow up is also being looked into.

Hope he bought the game with bitcoins

What if he bought a copy via Steam or activated it there? Can you expect any law support from Steam?

Yeah, it is totally possible for anyone at any time to have their account "overhauled" with a new, fresh key (if your old key got stolen or whatever).

I can turn off the old key, and get you a new key that only you know.

If you bought the game off-Steam, you can prove your identity to me by emailing me from the email you used to buy the game.

If you bought the game on-Steam, the procedure for proving your identity will be a little bit more complicated, but still do-able.

I've confirmed that Firefox is displaying an alert. A full-page, red screen "deceptive site ahead" kind of alert.

Chrome is not doing so yet, but I encourage anyone to also report this to Chrome go by going to https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebro … ish/?hl=en Considering the topic, instead of clicking the link you can also Google search for "Report phishing chrome"

I also encourage other people to submit an abuse report to 000webhostapp.com. Toxic is not the first person to use this free service to host phishing sites and I've successfully reported and had one taken down in the past by submitting a report here https://www.000webhost.com/report-abuse
