grief at berg town

I usually build engine disels in towns when the well dries up so yesterday i was tryna do that to in berg city im not sure now what the family name was it was berg i think we were gingers so it was sort of my fault how the grief started because i gave birth to the griefer -___- i shouldn't have fed her she was acting all weird as a baby and people take my advise so you don't make the same mistake don't feed them if they're acting weird but i gave her the benefit of a doubt so she grew up took leadership and it was two people who were griefing my daugther the one who took leadership and another dude so the other dude kept making a fence around the engine the one im working at without making a fence gate just a fence so i told him hey why aren't you making a fence gate you can't just lock it like that so he ignored so as any normal person would do i broke his fence because it had no gate ofc he went mad so he went to my daughter who is working with him and made an order to let everyone curse me and ofcourse the noobs did even though i was pointing out what he was doing but they cursed me and she killed me because she has leadership people i just wanna say please please don't give leadership to griefers also please don't curse if you don't know what the story is and please if you see a griefer just please curse them

Re: grief at berg town

funny thing that they lost their engine anyway

somebody tried to lock up tarry spots, I found 2 walled ones south, eventually, someone removed one side of each of them, the bears were poked

it looked shit, later on, I returned there as a brown guy and got them enough rubber to deplete the well, even some leftover (was just 19 so they were lucky?)
I think is very boring to do the Newcomen phase, takes long and rubber is hard to get, better deplete it fast and get to kerosene stage

the biomes looked weird around it, not too many swamps, fragmented jungles and deserts with no resources on them, a lot of animals to kill

not really a place to have a longstanding town

generally you gotta have big biomes, no fragmentations, ice can be smaller if has oil and icehole on it, desert and jungle is all about the size

Re: grief at berg town

Perpetual leadership is great, up to a point when a griefer becomes leader. Defending against a tyrant is barely possible.

What would be the best you could do in this scenario?
I think fighting against griefers on your own isn't the best strategy anymore, I think it would be better if instead of trying to stop the griefer from making fences on your own, you went to the leader right away and asked them to stop the griefer. This way you would prevent yourself from being cursed and it would be up to the leader how this problem will be solved.

And what if the leader turns out to be bad and won't stop the griefer? Here is the part of leadership mechanics that should be improved by Jason in my opinion. Currently all you could do is redeem the leader and ask people to do the same and follow you, to make new kingdom, but this is technically impossible and would definitely not be fun, but only stressful.
Picking a new leader and kicking the current leader from their position (via voting or something) should be definitely easier.

Would be great if the leadership passes to the best genetic score instead. especially if the score would be counted 5 times if happened in the current family.
