Mouse over your temperature bar to see your hunger pip los. If you're indoors you'll see the text 'indoor bonus' in the same place where the mouseover text usually is.

I mean easiest is to look at your temperature bar. If you are wearing clothes and are indoors (in a proper sized room) you will almost always be within the center.

While it is possible to get indoor bonus without the perfect temperature (room is too big for example) it's almost always a flaw in building design to do so.

Also as Twisted said you can hover over the bar and it'll tell you your indoor bonus.

yes.... but there was something about, walls should not be too far away, and it should have tiles on the ground, and doors should be closed at least most of the time, so i start to wonder when im actually indoors. Sometimes a corner is missing, sometimes there is just a hole in the wall instead a door, sometimes some tiles are missing and an and...

Why im asking is, because it looks like buildings currently have not much use, most of the time people work outside, and if they are inside they are on the fire... so i was thinking if at least buildings could affect the decay of items / less decay indoors then outdoors like in rim world when rain comes...

and yeah the bonuses are quite crap, I would rather have storage and easy access, we still don't have any good static jobs to use fixed spots
anything below perfect temp just doesn't worth it, the bonus just puts the bad spots over tolerable and pushes fire effect out a bit, but it won't be any better than before, still requires the knowledge to check where you are standing
