The problem with the lineage ban regarding Eves is that they have around ten children which they are unable to care for. As a newly-spawned Eve, I’ve found that the birth cooldown is either lesser or that I’m simply enamored with an illusion.
A way to somewhat resolve this is th have more than one family line in a single civilization, big or small, but this is out of our control.
WASD controls should be an option, perhaps in a settings tab. It’s diffucult for many people to use a mouse.
Agreed. I’ve been an Eve to the point where it’s exhausting lately. Even stops me from playing the game sometimes — it’s too repetitive when you spawn in the wilderness over and over. I usually end up dying before I even find a good spot.
I don’t understand why the lineage ban is in place.
For some reason, I was born as an Eve over, and over, and over. It had been about eight times when I decided, alright, I’m sick of wandering around trying to find a decent place and having four kids along the way until I die. So I decided to play a fun... game.
I spawned in the grey biome which contains wolves and bears. There were about twenty bear caves. I went around touching them and provoking bears to come out. Pretty soon, I had a pack of about nine bears following me, and I had my baby girl.
I knew I was going to die soon anyway, so I said “I am Moist” and “You are Moist” which the baby went along with. She didn’t seem to know what I was doing, and I kept going around in circles. “This is fun” I said, to which she responded “?”
So I decided to demonstrate what I was doing. I plopped her down next to a bear cave and provoked the bear. Instantly, my beautiful innocent baby was killed. I didn’t know that you could be killed when you were two squares away from the cave! Sorry sweet baby!
Anyway, I got to thirteen bears before one of them ate me.
If only there was a way to actually capture people in the game, Like instead of having vigilante's just killing people. They could instead catch them and have them explain themselves, People that give dumb reasons can be killed but innocents at least get a chance to talk.
Omg.
This.
Please.

Murder is a necessary concept in the game to prevent the numerous griefers and trolls from continuing, but yes, I agree that people use it excessively and without reason. Since it’s so readily available, anyone without any reason can just shank you if you’re not always on high alert. Which is a shame, because the majority of thriving cities are actually small towns without any weapons.
Most villages I’ve spawned into now have died out not because of lack of women or babies who know how to function when they’re five, but due to murderers who go unpunished and get away with their fun.
The only solution to defeating murderers would be to allow every person to have a weapon or some means of defense, which is illogical and would surely result in more murder. The more weapons a village has, the greater chance they have of defeating a murderer. For example, if you only have one knife or bow, and murderer takes it, it’s all over.
This all creates a giant loop which, as we are right now with no defense, we cannot escape.
Shame.
Yes, I agree with the temperature issue. The desert is too hot when wearing clothing or having a fire; too high on the temp meter, as you know, has the same effect as freezing.
Don’t force your baby by a fire in a desert. Please.
Especially after they tell you “too hot.”
Ah, hello Son. Mommy’s proud. I saw you working vigorously on that sign but never saw it complete. I applaud you.

I’ve seen many people experience this and I have too.
Since the recent patch, this has been a universal bug.
I can't believe you actually responded, haha.
It's the least we could do in return.

Mother, this is Archer, your second-born blonde boy. You always inquired on how sweet I was. We had a few murderers, and I managed to protect everyone from two of them, but the last murderer killed you. He killed no one else, besides dear Michael, who lived to the last moment with you on his mind.
We survived and lived the rest of our lives seeking to avenge you. (Art, Michael, George, and myself.) I tried really hard, mother, but he ran away every time I got near him. You WERE avenged, however, by the hand of George. I decided that life wasn't worth living any longer without you, so I starved myself next to your grave. (I ended up moving Art's bones because he had the idea first, but he's next to you also.) Although civilization won't continue there, it's a victory for us, and whomever stumbles across our ruins will be extremely happy.
And none of this was your fault, which you unfortunately believed. You welcomed the murderers because you assumed they had a kind and golden heart, like yourself, and nobody should blame you for that. You were the best Mum I could have ever asked for. I'm so grateful to have had you as my mother. The others felt the same, as we devoted the rest of our lives to you. We all love you and hold you deep in our hearts even now, after you are long gone.

Go to the one hour one life official website and click on the “family trees” tab. From there, you can view recent deaths and search by name or email. (onehouronelife.com)

Glad to hear Potters have survived. I was extremely worried for their future. Situation was terrible when I died. Snakes in trees suck.

In regards to AFK kids, I try to feed them unless it is an inconvenience to me or my people. If there is a food shortage, and you are AFK, I will either let you die or run away and try to survive off of berries.
I always keep my children unless I am told not to, they are rude, they are bots, or they run and suicide. Knowing that they are actual players motivates me to keep them, if they were not I would probably abandon some of my children.
After the patch Eve Morgan revitalized Ducks. The southwestern city was either culled during the patch or I was unable to remember exactly where it was. The city to the east was eventually settled by Aura Morgan who in turn raised the city back to a livable state.
I believe Aura was my aunt and the queen who had my mum killed. Small world.
I was Yogi's daughter who brought you soil! Lololol
Ah! Thank you for the soil, very helpful for generations to come
Sounds cool. I wonder who won the war!
I believe our town did. (Yippee!) As the war was apparently over after the patch occurred and the city to the East had been completely deserted.

Ah, yes, I have been born there a few times, but was never asked to go to war because my virgin eyes are unaware how to kill people.
Just finished a lifetime there; ended with starvation at age 54, the women kept keeping the children and ate all the seeding carrot pods. My dear unnamed brother was so supportive and we died next to each other before my family could get any pies.
Some people have told me there is a way to create a basket without using reed. Is this true, and if so, how is this made?
You also hear the music play 12 times throughout your life at five minute intervals. It's like a birthday song every five years!
The last one being your end of days music, of course.
Ah, I was wondering about the music intervals and what the last song would be. Thanks for the tip!
Usually I'm not paying attention to the time when playing, and many people do play in full screen so this tip was for them.
