bump.
no money pls no money, we've already discussed this.
OHOL already has religion. Apocalypse cults, goose cults, cult of bob, fire worshipers, Nosaj. So many to choose from.
Pretty sure we don't need more.
this, and the fact that it'd make things unfair... and raise the /die and runner babies risk.
this would be absolutely horrible. it would get abused in every way.
what about banana muffins? or... muffins in general.
the same reason as to why crowns exist...
twins... twins i tell you.
Another request that's come up a lot:
Make burying people not waste iron
(Speaking of which, would it be possible to have a flat stone mine?)
graves are more useless clutter.
with marriage, there will probably be infidelity as well.
You try way too hard to stand out as a griefer, you will never be remembered once you are gone
saying that is a blatant lie. instead, once he's gotten bored of what he does and leaves... we'll probably gather around and think back of 'that one guy and his posse' and laugh at how sad it was.
As the title suggests, it would be nice if you posted peaceful and memorable stories here. Stories that don't have drama, but are wholesome and memorable.
you missed the chance to call a daughter 'malory' and a son 'sterling'...
you are the weakest type of griefer aiming for eve camps.
All villains have an excuse.
All villains are the hero in their own story.
You were tempted, and this was your choice.
Many other people would not have chosen to become a griefer in similar circumstances. But you chose to join the Dark Side.
Your family's forgiveness will not change that.
(Sorry if I sound condemning. I'm just trying to be realistic. I've read many griefers' woes on this forum, and the one thing they all have in common is that they all feel justified in their schemes.)
don't apologize to griefers for condemning them.
I've been thinking about the areaban, and how we could fix it... infact... I've been thinking; 'screw the areaban! lets have something different.' And by different... what if the ban didn't exist? Wait... hold on! Before you say 'hey, w0wma, you sound like a griefer!' or before you just close this thread. Hear me out!
What if the areaban was the new punishment for griefers...? what if the more curses that they gained, the larger the ban gets. Until it eventually puts them into Eve 'hell'. Then it lifts after x amount of hours/days, and if their behaviour continues they get sent to Donkey Town as the ultimate punishment.
The same rules would also apply to the lineage ban.
another off the wall suggestion from me
instead to send off cursed players to Donkey Town, make them play as animals
that would be consistent with the classic karma belief
here was my suggestion made 10 months ago : traditional karma - to be born as an animalwould make for a completely different life experience & would mix up the stale gameplay down one line of development
- - -
that would make people grief/be disruptive on purpose JUST to be able to play as an animal. plus don't reward griefers for griefing by giving them a 'special' play style.
your drawings are fucking amazing, including that creepy potato boy from the other thread i like how creepy and well drawn he was. keep on posting pls/as long as you love drawing fanart!

**instantly reports for making me shit bricks and making me hide under my bed**
p.s it looks like a brown bubba joe
I was talking about this in the community Discord. Raccoons should be added so that we have more pelts to make hats, gloves, and boots. Raccoons should eat trash, and if there's none they should run off with random items or eat food and crops.
Bears should have a behaviour where they try to raid the sheep pen, and if there's no way they can reach the sheep. They go for random people running around. Plus we should be able to make food from bear meat and make clothing from bear pelt.
i'm sending my 10 iron and 2 gold over right now.
yeah i taught him how to follow coordinates and it's a fun experience, everyone should try it before griefing
i was the one who took the lead.
As the title suggests... I posted a triplet code in the OHOL Community Discord. (So I shouldn't be so shocked, but I'll continue my story.) I waited for who I expected to join us, to join us. We were born into a village that was dying due to a lack of females. (We were males.) Other than the worry of my village collapsing at any moment, I decided to make stuff until the inevitable end. (Making compost because why not be useful, despite my village dying.)
Then all of a sudden one of my last nameless triplets, smart on who's about to come up side, comes up to me and admits something... it wasn't a 'hey, I'm actually <random name here>!' It was... *INSERT VERY LONG OVER DRAMATIC PAUSE* TOXIC! My guts sank and fell out of my behind... I was worried that he'd end up stabbing myself or my other twin. But well, he didn't. Instead he agreed to come and help me find a female to take to our dying village. He seemed like a different person, but I still kept the fact that he could destroy our village later on in life in the back of my mind.
Toxic and I had a casual chat about the game as we ran along. He was being a normal player! He's not horrible if you respect him and treat him like a person... he had many chances to stab me, but he didn't. Although... he got gored by a boar.
Thanks for reading.
p.s I apologize if my writing is horrible, it's 1:08 am and my brain feels numb and empty.
this would be an awesome idea!
So jason wants conflict, and i don't blame him. If something isn't worth protecting or destroying, then there is stagnation. The stakes as they are now has made conflict happen, but mostly unorganized havoc.
I think I figured out a way to paint everything clearer and have some semblance of an ideology actually having an image. All without changing anything we dont already have (almost)..
The way I see it, we already have two factions in game now and just nobody realizes it.
The factions that already exist are:
Pro apocalypse
Anti apocalypseBut how can we distinguish these two groups?
My proposal is that we give them a color.
With the next update we will be given a variety of clothes, but the CLOAKS are what we should use to identify these said factions.
If you wear a red cloak you are in support of the apocalypse. If you wear a blue cloak you are anti apocalypse.
I think this meta change could spice things up and actually prove to organize people. You obviously dont have to join either faction, but actually being able to tell who wants which goal might be beneficial for everyone.
Your thoughts?
what if you want to stand neutral? will we wear a green, white, and orange cloak?
