Well, I looked at some stuff and found that it is possible to root many trees without rooting hormone. I hadn't heard of willow water until just now, but sounds like that's a replacement for rooting hormone.
Yeah cuttings are weird in real life there is a high failure chance. A general rule of thumb even with rooting hormone (willow water as an all natural replacement) is to cut twice as many rods as you want trees.
I root fig cuttings every early spring to sell, and i take 100-200 cuttings home depending on how straight they grew the year before (curved cuttings never turn out well in my experience).
I only expect 50%-60% to turn into viable trees even watching them closely.
But hey a year later i get 5$ wholesale for em
Any chance we see grafting one day?
Idk how glass would work lol just thought of this low tech solution when someone brought up electric fences
I kill....
Sponges who refuse to get to work.
Theifs (only if i witness first hand)
People who refuse to learn from their mistakes. (After telling them what they should/should not be doing, warning them on 2nd offense that i will kill them if they keep it up. Then stabbing them)
I also kill pedo RPers because that is disgusting
I kill people who are jerks for no reason (swearing at random people, bigotry thats not in joking way, just being generally toxic)
My own children when someone else refuses to let them starve. If a mom wants to starve her own kid she has a reason. Only fight her over it if its the only female child.
Also after i kill i will stand still in the middle of town and await judgement/explain myself. If you wanna stab me its your loss. Ill make pie/compost/tools for someone else. Usually people feed me and let me live.
Very rarely if ever is a griefer smart enough to stand still and explain. So give people on murder cooldown like this a chance to explain then decide wether or not to stab them.

You can make a solar cell from berrys i remember seeing this on applied science, but it could be a cool way to work electronics into ohol eventually. (I know its a long way off if it happens).
Without streams, lakes, or waves solar wind or chemical power is the options we have in ohol.
Clearly the future needs electric fences, and if you touch them it should make a nice shocking sound maybe frazzle the screen a bit and loose you a health point. LOL
Lol your hand gets stuck and someone has to poke you off with a straight shaft....
Need rubber gloves to remove wire if not you get electrocuted till you starve >: }
Fence+shovel = loose sheep
20 items+pit = loose sheep
theory debunked
Pits take longer to grief, and are therefore better to use as sheep pens.
Also they are
Easier to make.
Easier to fix.
Easier to expand.
Yes they are ugly, but until a better solution is given to us they are the best solution.
Be quiet... if he dont know about it he cant fix it so shhhhhhhhh
Rise from the dead!
Make it 26$ on steam and you'll get your regular cut lol
Dave... DAAAVVVEEE...
Obligatory fallout reference
Lack of Juniper wasn't on purpose.
I just picked four trees and did those first!
Keep in mind irl juniper berrys need to be prepared in a lye solution, or passed through a birds GI tract to be viable might make for a fun mechanic ither way it goes.. i was dissapointed you didnt make us use willow water to root the tree cuttings though
+1 wasent as bad when milkweed regrew on its own, but they are prohibitively expensive now
For future reference it is on the bottom of the ohol official website's home page
Real rules= 0
Null argument
You make your own rules
Players make rules
Anything, even honest mistakes can be considered griefing.
Ive seen people killed/cursed for...
Keeping babies/not keeping babies
Making too much bread/not making enough bread
I think the line between griefing, stupidity, and honest mistakes is razor thin. All will get you killed or cursed. I have had lives where i do nothing but tend sheep, water berrys, and compost. And get killed for "greifing"
No matter how we rationalize things here in forums this game is a practice in anarchy
Milk should be the new food source(you get alot of food for one corn), but the problem is alot of people dont know how to do it right, and dont prioritize buckets
He has broken rules though, such as attacking people, and spamming (a whole different story) so he in every way deserves a forum ban
Youd be surprised what it takes to get a forum ban. He isnt that disruptive compared to some other people i wont mention... i thought you ment in game though.
If it were soley up to me id like to see him off the forums.
Even mods cant act unilaterally unless things get really bad.
The rules they follow are on discord if you wanted to read them
+1 for eating people
+1 better use of time than a bell tower
Why has nobody banned this person? they are extremely rude and grief relentlessly.
Technically griefing isnt against any rules... i dont like the guy seems like an angry 10 year old, but other than the auto clicker to circumvent the d town (which is still debateable wether its ok or not) he isnt breaking and rules in game. Because there are no rules in game except for user enforced ones
Personally i think hes pretty toxic though
Please give us afro chick!
5. Yes you can curse someone for two hours
No dead tree sapling? im really disapointed
Lol im sure there will be. These are just cherry picked teaser pics
Every town will now have plenty of shafts hooray
I love shinky dinks
