Progression Speculation

I find the steady progression that Jason intends to do with regular updates to be fascinating. From the trailer we've gotten a glimpse into the future possibilities of this game, which leaves a lot of room to imagine the various milestones to come.

So, I am making this topic as a pseudo development-log/suggestion thread that I will update whenever Jason updates (or whenever someone else posts an interesting theory or suggestion)

Splitting this between 3 posts to keep it organized.

What's cooking on github?

- Wells will probably act as build-able ponds that refill.
(Bear Rugs)
- Finally, a reason to kill bears. Bragging rights. Also shareable warmth

Hopes
What could be.

(Dyes/Totems/Markers)
- A way to distinguish areas/farms/directions for easier organization.

(Beehives)
- Could serve as a risky raw food source which can be cultivated with effort

With progress comes danger

(Poison berries)
- Able to be refined, used to create compost, or kill the unwary.

Love the poison berries idea!

I would like to have customizable signs, like four letters and really expensive to make.

Also locked chests or doors, you either need the key or craft a very expensive lockpick to open.
